Bus Benefit Logo Contest 2027

Hey, Volks, it’s that time of year, and we’re excited to kick off the Bus Benefit 2027 Logo Contest! Once again, we are reaching out to the artists in our midst to come up with the logo for Bus Benefit 2027. We invite all you creative types to submit your designs to be considered for the annual Bus Benefit logo.

Requirements
Submissions must be original artwork (no AI or modified versions of existing designs) and of a size easily scalable for a variety of uses including T-shirts, pint glasses and posters.

Please Note:
While all formats are acceptable, because of merchandise production requirements, digital artwork is preferred, ideally in vector* format. Designs must be limited to no more than 6 colors, with no gradients (shading).

The words “Bus Benefit presented by Buses by the Beach” must be prominent in the design. We are looking for designs that are distinctive** and imaginative and that capture the theme of Bus Benefit and/or the Phoenix Society. The design can include imagery of VW buses, musicians or the essence of an outdoor music camp out. Keep in mind that Bus Benefit features VW Bus style camping, Live music from Local Michigan musicians, a community of good Volks, peace, love and food!

Entries must be received by 11:59 pm, January 15, 2027. The winners will be notified after our board meeting in January 2027. Design submissions will not be returned. If your work is selected, we will contact you to secure the original and finalize details. The winning and 2nd place artwork will become the property of Buses by the Beach and may be used on promotional material for Bus Benefit 2027 to be held May 28-31, 2027 and all other events presented by Buses by the Beach.

Prizes:
The winning artist will receive one (1) weekend pass to the Bus Benefit 2027 and a t-shirt adorned with their design. Second Place winner will receive one t-shirt.

Please Note:
*Due to the requirements for high quality printing and re-sizing, entries should be submitted in scalable vector graphic format (EPS) if at all possible. Designs must be limited to no more than 6 colors, with no gradients or shading.

**Entrants should take care to ensure that their entries are not in any way similar to existing logos or other copyrighted images. A logo that cannot be registered as a Service Mark, no matter how well-crafted, cannot win the contest.
